The hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in the rooms, especially the ones with a sea view and balcony. The big bathrooms were a bonus and the terrasse with a view of the beach was simply breathtaking. Additionally, the breakfast area provided fabulous views and the coffee was actually drinkable.

Although the hotel was close to the beach, it was along a busy road which could be inconvenient. The pool area could have been maintained better, but it was still a nice spot to relax.

I was in a bit of a pickle when I arrived in Arugam Bay to find it abandoned during the off-season. Thanks to the flexibility of the staff at the hotel, I was able to arrange a last-minute taxi to Mirissa the same day. They even saved some food for me and heated it up when I arrived late in the evening. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly, making my stay memorable. The hotel's laid-back atmosphere, with the jungle-side garden and monkeys swinging through the trees, added to the charm. The room was well maintained and very clean. It's also just a short walk to a lovely beach where I was able to snorkel with turtles responsibly. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel for its staff and location.
